Allianz Insurance Company was registered on August 30, 2005 (until October 01, 2007 the name of the Company was ROSNO Ukraine). The Company has a subsidiary providing life insurance Allianz Life.
The owner of the company is Allianz Group. Allianz SE is one of the world's leading insurance companies and financial service providers. The company was founded in 1890 in Munich, Germany.
The strategy of Allianz in Ukraine specifies operation in all the sectors of the Ukrainian insurance market. Allianz is a composite company having licenses for realization of 29 insurance types and operating in the area of risk insurance. Nowadays over 300 employees are working for Allianz.
Services of Allianz are used by the largest international and national companies among which UMC CJSC (MTS-Ukraine), OJSC SAN Interbrew Ukraine, Henkel Ukraine LLC, Johnson Ins.Co. LLC, ÌÊÌ Telecom, Lactalis CJSC and others.
Allianz Insurance Company maintains partner relations with different business structures, including the largest financial institutions and car dealers of Ukraine. Allianz is a member of the Ukraine Insurance Enterprises League, ànd an associate member of the Ìîtîr Transport Insurance Bureau of Ukraine.
Allianz Ins.Co. is developing dynamically. As at October 01, 2007, the Company collected insurance premiums in the amount of UAH 79.479 million. Summarizing the results of 3 quarters of 2007, the rate of growth of this indicator compared to the results for the analogous period in 2006 was 228.5%. The authorized capital of Allianz Ins.Co. compared to the indicator as at October 01, 2006 increased by 85.9% and was UAH 96.155 million. For 3 quarters of 2007, Allianz Ins.Co. paid UAH 36.533 million. Compared to the results for the same period in 2006 this indicator increased more than 12-fold.
The rating center of Expert Ukraine Information Group awards the Company with the highest rating of financial stability, reliability, transparency among insurance companies of Ukraine two years running. The Company has the highest rating Ààà.
Allianz takes care that the Company’s services are available to the customers all over the country. 5 regional Directorates of Allianz in Kiev, Lviv, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, and Odessa cover the entire territory of Ukraine. 32 regional offices of the Company operate in Ukraine nowadays. By the end of 2007 Allianz shall be represented in all the regions.
